Q Eligibility
We are pleased to announce effective November 16, 2009, we are offering online patient eligibility through your QHA Browser or via our website www.qhaclaims.com. "Q Eligibility", the Quantum Health eligibility verification solution, eliminates the time consuming hassle of verifying eligibility by phone, visiting multiple websites, or retaining multiple logins, passwords, etc. "Q Eligibility" will ultimately lead to faster payments and is a useful tool for both front-end (during patient registration) and at the back-end (for billing and collections) office procedures.

With this new service, you can enjoy the benefits of real-time information exchange. Eligibility can be verified on a patient-by-patient basis whenever you need it. Information is made available immediately, enabling you to identify coverage and collect patient payments at the time of their visit.

This new tool is relatively inexpensive and easy to use. There will be a charge of $.30 cents per transaction whether real-time or batch. You will see any new charges on your monthly invoice.

Legislation Requires Electronic-only Claim Submission for all Minnesota providers
If you are a Minnesota provider, you should have received details and instructions on your QHA browser giving you detailed instructions on how to send Worker's Comp, Personal Injury and Automobile Accident claims and corresponding attachments.
Remember, it is important that "PWK" be in Box 19 on all Worker's Comp, Personal Injury and Automobile Accident claims, regardless of whether or not you will be sending an attachment.
It is also vital that the payer name appears on your claims exactly as it appears on the WC/PI/AA Payer List found on our website at qhaclaims.com This is the same payer list that was recently posted on your QHA browser.
Additionally, the attachment fax cover sheet will be available through the Attachment module on your Quantum Browser twenty-four (24) hours after you send your claim. Please be sure to send only one fax cover sheet (and attachments) per claim for each fax transmission.
